A successful business professional enjoyed her career and financial success over almost two decades. But a growing passion for volunteer work led her to consider making the transition from the business world to the human services field. Bradway Plan:
The client first came to Bradway with a collection of retirement plans from previous and current employers. Not one of the plans was being managed appropriately. And many were not being maximized from a contribution standpoint. Step one was to consolidate those various assets into IRAs, where we could manage them effectively.
Even though she is a smart and experienced business person, it was difficult for her to be objective about her own financial picture and the “business” of her own money. Over a period of years, she worked with Bradway to “ratchet down” her financial needs and save as much as she could in preparation for her career transition. The semi-annual reviews proved priceless.
