Bradway Plan:

Both highly educated and intelligent, Kim and Tom readily acknowledged that they didn’t have the knowledge that they needed to make sure that they were getting appropriate advice and making the right decisions. As a result of that initial interaction, a relationship formed whereby Tom engaged Bradway in the couple’s bigger financial picture, which included significant future assets from a family business.

They didn’t speak the language or even understand what it meant in terms of their future, and therefore were uncomfortable and in the dark about how the assets could be leveraged for them to maximize their life experiences and family goals. Over a period of two years, Bradway learned about the business alongside Tom, and he became educated to the point that he could have meaningful conversations with the family business.

Tom’s ultimate realization was that while he was fully capable of learning and understanding the financial world, and that he could become “self-sufficient”, that it was simply much more work than he had time for, or wanted to make time for. He and Kim have partnered with Bradway to get the right legal and financial instruments in place, and utilized the expertise of the broader Bradway team to handle corporate business issues relative to the family business, estate planning, trusts, insurance and investments.

Today they have the reassurance of knowing that Bradway is completely familiar with and continually monitoring their personal finances, and have acquired the knowledge to understand at the level that they are comfortable with – so that they can confidently live the lives they envisioned for themselves.
